Composite layers are text files that link separate layers together so that they behave as though they are a single layer in waterRIDE. In reality, they are not a single layer but rather a virtual layer.

There are 3 main types of composite layers:

1.Water surface

2.Imagery/Grid

3.Map On The Fly
