A dynamic, localised triangulation is applied between cell centres to eliminate pixellation of Grid surfaces when zooming in. The process is applied when the surface is drawn or interrogated and does not change the underlying gridded dataset.
As this surface smoothing is dynamic, it cannot be exported directly.
