Last week we launched our waterRIDE LITE module with a webinar.
If you missed the webinar you can watch the 15 minute recording here.
waterRIDE LITE is designed to offer a simple means of getting clear flood information to the community on any device. Essentially, its aim is to put usable flooding data in peoples pockets.
You may be looking to share design flood information as part of a revised flood study or a community flood information portal.
Or, you may be wishing to ensure that the community has access to your official flood forecasts allowing them the comprehend the expected flood extent ahead of actual inundation.
Image Toggle functionality was released a couple of versions ago and provides an excellent means of instantly toggling background imagery between any number of sources.
When using grids (wrr files), the new rapid reproject algorithm enables instant reprojection so your data access is always fast.
Most commonly, we are including a standard aerial photography background with StreetMaps functionality in new projects.
Open Street Maps works well, but we partiuclarly like the BING maps imagery for both its speed and map quality/colouring.
This step by step guide takes you through the process of setting up an ImageToggle.
We have finalised our group training schedule for 2023.
Following their introduction in the March training sessions, each module now only runs for half a day.
This provides the opportunity for "bite size" sessions that do not interrupt your full working day yet provide targetted training on capability that addresses your needs.
Details of next years' sessions including content and pricing are available here.
Our offices will be closed over the Christmas period from Friday 23rd December and returning on Tuesday 3rd January.
We hope everyone manages to have a nice break and we look forward to working with you in the New Year!
